Default Newbie with an '02 Si

I've just recently joined the ranks of import owners, infact i bought my Si a couple of days ago, and I'm looking into getting into autocross events. But first I want to fix up my car. I understand that the first thing I should put my money into is intake and exhaust, but what should I do after that. Also I really want to do all the work myself so is there any books or websites you would suggest for people who only know how to change tires, and the oil?

Hey, I'm in the same position are you are. I figured before I start searching about stuff, I need to just learn the overall of how a car works so i ordered a book called "auto fundamentals" from amazon. it got pretty good reviews. ill tell you how it is when i get it.

welcome, If you are interested in Auto-X you may want to look into suspension before power mods.

Does that civ come with an LSD?

Yeah, I agree with LEVIII (for once). If you have an Si you are lookin at 160 bhp anyway. If AutoX is your thing then suspension should definitely be at the top of your list.

Welcome aboard, i'm with ^these guys. Do up your suspension, get some light wheels/tires, and stablize that bad boy and you'll be tearing up the AutoX events.
