Not yet, be ause i just started this project, talk to me next summer. Wasting money on looks is pointless. Why Look fast if you cant go fast?!?

Anywho, i have to OWN a mustang to say they're ugly? Thats like saying i have to be married to a fat chick to be able to say shes ugly. How ignorant can you be??

And 04?!? My civic is a 99, its not even the same generation. Go do your homework before you try to challenge someone who lives to work on civics.
lmao your fun to mess with, well by the look of your car, it doesn't look like it's pushing much....is your 04 civic, and yes...im going to keep it calling it an 04 civic bc it hits a nerve, if you don't like...i'm sorry.

aaaahhhh hahahaha!! Yeah it doesnt hit a nerve so much as make you look like a retard, but you are more than welcome to refer to my car however you want. After all, its your opinion

And no, my car isnt pushing much right now. But i Live in Michigan so i have held off from doing any work to it until next spring. Its pointless to do it now, because in about a month i'll be returning the car to 75% stock. Next spring/early summer is when it will really start to get beefed up. So you just go ahead and sit tight till then

Just bought '98 Civic LX w/73K. This will be mostly used by my son who is just getting his license. Car is in excellent shape and I intend to keep it stock. My question is "Is there a forum here where an average guy can talk normal upkeep". I have nothing against tuning; I just want to keep this Civic running until i can pay it off! I have another teen coming along who will also be learning to drive in a few short years. I am hoping to use the same car. If anyone can suggest a forum, I would be most grateful. Perhaps I am on the wrong site entirely, and if that is the case, let me know.............Cheers![sm=icon_guiness.gif]

This is a good forum to do so. We have a lot of people who do just 'up-keep'

Your car looks all stock to me minus the tires, and im guessing they are aftermarket rims too? And...your front bumper...so what on your car on the outside, isn't stock?

Does it really matter?

I think maybe you've missed the point. I DONT DO EXTERIOR MODS. Spending money on something that doesnt make you go faster, stop quicker, or just overall perform better, IS A WASTE OF MONEY!

Yeah i know that the first. But since you don't do exterior...and you do everything under the hood.........you might wanna add exterior after your done breakin the bank to make your car go fast, so it looks like it has something nice on the outside.

Maybe in your eyes, but I still like my car to look good. I'm not gonna spend mega bucks for looks like a body kit (don't like em), but I'll do little things to personalize and touch up my exterior.

(Maybe invest in a few "VTEC" stickers and a big-a$$ wing.) lol

haha, for sure! But seriously, yes, IMHO its pointless to do exterior mods now. When my car is putting down some respectable numbers (*and bear in mind that this is, and always will be my daily driver, so i wont be going too far over the top with power) then and Only then will i go all out on the outside. I may purchase a front lip, and paint the stock side skirts. But other that that, and lowering the car, the "look" of my car will not change, and thats exactly how i like it
