Honda makes very well designed, efficient, durable & affordable motor vehicles.
Just picked up a 99 Civic LX (D16Y7) with only 130K miles! This car is UNMOLESTED, but needs a head gasket (slow internal coolant leak).
The spark plugs that came out of the engine appeared to be original (Denso), with like a 2 mm (0.080") gap! The engine ran like a sewing machine! I have pics of the plugs if anyone wants to see.
