Default newcomer to HCF

Hi, I'm fairly new to all this and I finally got a hatchback. I have a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback Si that I'm trying to get back to good condition. When I traded in my clean 1990 Toyota Pickup for it, I thought it wasn't in too bad a shape until I started to take things apart and opened pandora's box. Well I got it in running condition and I am trying to restore it back to at least good condition for now. My current project now is replacing the heater core. After replacing the radiator, coilovers, shocks, rims, tires, light switch, washer switch, washer hoses, and etc.; it is at least driveable. I'm just trying to utilize the experienced enthusiast and hopefully I can help as well! Is there an easy way to remove the radiator core hoses without moving the brake lines?
