I salvaged an 06 civic from the junk yard earlier this year. It's an 4 door EX with Navigation, I really really like the navigation it kicks ***. I've never owned a honda other then my lawn mower. I really love this car since I fixed it up myself I saved tons of money and it's basicly a new car. I can't believe the gas milage these things get with the 5 speed auto. I haven't taken any pictures but I'll get some up tonight. This looks like a great forum hopefully others since I've basicly dismanteled the engine/front end of my car.

It was at a local salvage yard, an insurance company totaled it out and I bought it wreaked and fixed it. The front end was smashed in, replace both fenders bumper hood windshield, airbags, rad. supports and rad., ac compressor along with lots of little parts and straighted the front subframe. It has a salvaged title now but I'll probably never sell it so that doesn't matter to me.

 

how much you pick it up for? sounds like a a lot of work is needed, especially straightening the frame. good luck with the project.

 

I've already finished it, I picked it up for just under 6K, doing as much of the work myself as I can, I got it all done for around 10k. Seems like a good deal for a car that had 4,000 miles on it.
