Ok so im a noob
Hi there as you can tell im a noob here so id like to say hi...[&:]
id also like to ask a techinical question....(i got a lil lost where i should ask the question)
so here it is....i have a 1986 honda civic hatch and i love my car to bits but the hood is looking a bit to rusty and i think it could go for a replacement but here in australia its almost impossible to buy 3g honda civic hoods so here is the question...
is there a way i can change the hood over to a 4g hood....(weither it be with a conversion kit or by removing the parts/fenders) please help me
my car is due for registration soon and they wont rego me if i have a heap of rust on the hood

Yeah, just sand that baby and paint it. Rattle can will get you through inspection 'til you can get it done right.

IM NOT...awww that sucks....lol well ive already had it inspected by mechanics and its already gone through so i either need to find a new hood.....lol yeah right like as if...
or replace it with a 4g hood (aswell as the fenders and stuff)....lol ma friend just got sold his2g crx andbefore that he had a 4g civic (which iswhere he got the cf hood to begin with)and has a cf hood for me so there is a second motive why i wana get it converted lol
but the first is the most important....[&:]
this sucks..... i know there is a 1 piece fibreglass hood i can get but its not worth it cuz its gonna end up being like 1000+ if i get it...(its in america) and i dont exactly have that kind of money lol....my registration is gonna cost like 1k anywayz lol so i need to try get the hood replaced.....anywayz if u have any more idea's or have any help or wana make a statement please do lol....
P.s i checked the hood on ma car and i hate to say it but it definately needs to be replaced the rust goes almostthrough the hood....
