I am Cheap Engineer who is trying to keep two Honda Civics running. One is a 2002 four door LX with 218,000 miles and the other one is a 2005 four door EX with 128,000 miles. Interestingly enough, both cars had to have the camshaft position sensor replace. I paid to have the first one done by a shop for $300, I did the second one myself for the cost of the part only ($36 on amazon).

In both cases, the dreaded P0420 resulted after replacing the camshaft position sensor. So I will be cruising this forum for solutions.
