Hi everyone, this is my first post. This is a great forum. I'm looking for a 06 civic Ex sedan, so today I went to a dealer in Toronto to check out the price. The saleman told me that the price for 06 civic will be increased about $200-300 after new year . Also, I was told that I have to wait at least 6 weeks to get the car if I order it today. Do you think the price will be increased after new year or the saleman is lying? Thanks.

i just left a dealer lot here in north carolina (u.s.). they had crazy year-end clearances on lx sedans.

 

screw the new civics (unless you're getting an Si).

go with an EG or EK (92-95 or 96-00)

Why? The new civic not good?

 

I could have got any civic I wanted and I got a eg hatch because my opinion is that they are by far the best for doing stuff to like swaps and mods and I love the looks of them.

 

well its not that the new civics arent good...theyre great as a family car, but (imho) they dont look as good as older generations and theyre heavier and have a lower power/weight ratio. and aftermarket support, since its brand new, is non-existant. once the aftermarket opens up to the new civics (as im sure it will) i'll prolly like them a little more

the interiors are badass tho.

 

i concur. If you're looking for a fun car to tune and toy with, go with an older model, most perfer the ones Nail mentioned above. (EG-92-95 and EK-96-00). IMO the EK Coupe's (especially 99-00) are the best looking, but you can't beat the lightweight functionality of an eg hatch.

It all depends on what you plan to do with the car. And, if you have your heart set on a new one, by all means go for it!

 

i agree completely with forty. i havnt drivin any other civics but mine, but i can vouch for the fact that its a fun little car and its deffinately not a grocery getter like a lot of people think (99 dx btw) but if you just want speed in the end the EG hatch (92-95) is the best way to go for its lightweight


plus...these cars will be cheaper by far than the new ones

 

welcome to the forum! [sm=hiya.gif][sm=hiya.gif] i personally dont think they are going to put up the price, there just pushing you into a sale, there not going to put out a car..sell a couple thousand and then put up the price, mabey it was just for that 1 dealership..

 

Does anyone know the inovice price for 2006 EX auto sedan in Canada?
