Default Removing the heat shield

All,

I'm very new at this so be patient. I want to paint my heat shield but I'm having problem removing the sensor (Heat Oxygen).

#1 I can remove the plug, but the male is stationary
#2 Do I need to remove the sensor itself?

Thanks!

Ok, got it out. The female part that was stationary had a little tab underneath that had to me press. Thanks!
