Hi All,

I have a 2004 Honda Civic Ex 1.7 liter, 154000 miles.
In the past couple months I have noticed a rough purr sound when my clutch is out and when I accelerate in gear. This sound has always been around since I had all the fluids flushed and replaced at 100,000 but it seems be getting worse over time, I'll be taking her in but I want to get a couple opinions before I do, so I might be able to suggest something to my mechanic.
She has had some work done. Unfortunately the timing belt snapped and I had to have 16 valves re-done (forgive me for my ignorant mechanic talk, its been a while since I car talked). After that work was done, she ran awesome. Air filter has been changed, and I am about to change out the spark plugs to Denso or NGK I read in a couple articles is recommended. She runs on synthetic oil changed every 8 to 10 grand. Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to do before I take her in.
