You people have a nice site & I enjoy reading about some of your experiences with Honda. The service dept. at my local Honda dealer told me that the oil in my 08 Civic was a "break in oil" & should not be changed until you hit 1000 miles. I have the oil ready & also purchased a pair of steel ramps to drive the car on. I will do my own oil & plan on doing the transmission as well. I traded a 05 Chevy Impala SS with a supercharger & it worked out to be a almost even trade. I have 500 miles on the Civic & am getting 35 miles to the gal...My wife & I will always be Honda people. We love everything about this car! Once again it was a pleasure finding this site & all of you people. Later...Ed.
