awesome dude, you are so lucky. If only I had known what I know now and gotten a 200 buck starter car...I could have sunk all that cash difference into mods.

if you want the best bang for your buck withi/h/e... i would check out megan racing's header, catback, and hi-flow cat! for the intake, some people get a ebay intake and put a aem dryflow filter on it! you will probably spend $500-600... you stole that car!! nice find!!

if you live in california don't get the megan header! not street legal. you'll have to spend the big bucks and go with dc sports or something. good luck

Alright guys, I seem to have the car running good and the dash should be back together with my CD player in it tomorrow, so I'm ready to start getting some performance parts. My question is, are there any parts on Ebay that are decent parts for the money. I am mainly talking about air cleaner intake kits. Are the ones on there total junk or is there a brand that I should try to find. Keep in mind I'm trying to build this thing as low-buck as possible. I already have a 4-2-1 header lined up and will eventually get the full exhaust bought and install it all at the same time. Just wondered if some of thoseare going to really help the performance.

Thanks

well with the ebay intake it should be fine.. BUT upgrade the filter ASAP!! cause those are just crapy steel screens!
i sugest a AEM dryflow filter.. thats what i got... just be sure ya buy the right size filter for the intake tube.... and id also sugest just painting the intake...LOL i got the chrome style intake and just alittle engine bay cleaner touched it and clouded the chrome crap right up and looked like crap.LOL or just clean your engine bay before ya instal it....

but you can always look for a used AEM intake and get those reasonably cheap......
i havent noticed any performance gains BUT it sounds great
and my cheap header... again couldnt tell much difference but LOOKS GREAT!
but then again i have a auto tranny so thats killen most my power right thier

Well, I finally got around to working on the interior this afternoon. Took a couple of pictures of the dash all torn apart and the a couple of pictures tonight when I got it all back together. Amazing what a couple of junkyard parts will do for the interior. If any of you happen across a gray steering column cover in a junkyard I could use one. I made this one work, but it still is kind of ill-fitting.

And finally a close-up of the stereo. Couldn't get the front speakers to work though.

Nice fix! That was the most amature break in of the civic I've seen! Either way, go here http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/
and download a free pdf manual for your car. It's a all inclusive manual with freakin' 1258 pages!!
