I have always been into cars and know a lot about engines and the actual function of cars but dont know much about Japanese motors and all the different types. I keep hearing B16, B18, K20, H22, etc. Could someone please help me out by explaining what these are, hp, tq, etc. This would be a great help because i am thinking about an engine swap but it would obviously be good to know what im putting in my car. Thanx a lot!!

 

Im new to honda, but I know b16 stands for a 1.6l engine, b18 for a 1.8l, and the k20 I THINK is a 2.0l and so on....if im wrong someone can correct me but im pretty sure thats how it goes....hope this is useful
