Default Sons ( my ) new toy

Bought my son an amazingly clean 98 EX coupe. Looking forward to tinkering around with it and learning about Civics. Bought my daughter a mustang V-6 and with some Flowmasters, intake and a cam it is nice improvement over stock
Must say I love the sound but I think Flowmasters are a little overrated.

Cost $634 and really do not think they add any real power- put the intake on first (K&N) then the Flows - car was not really any quicker until the cam went in - but I realize everything is systemic so maybe the cam would not deliver without better airflow. I amazed that there message board wars over Flowmaster vs ...... b

wel of course all the upgrades together will make it alot more noticable difference.
but for the most part mufflers just alot better sound if you want it deep and throaty.

i want to remove my stock muffler on my truck but im still kicking around the idea with either just removing the muffler or to just swap the muffler. im still kicking around the idea. my old truck sounded good without the muffler just slightly cracking at times, i welded on a flowmaster delta 40 and it made it alittle quieter but mostly got rid of the crackling.
ive already got the pipes to delete the muffler but im still not quite committed to chopen it off.
only thing id realy like to upgrade on my truck is the rear end to some kinda posi track.... im tired of that one wheel burnout!
