Sup im new to this all including working on cars just wondering if anyone got tips for me i got a 1998 civic ex coupe thanks ill be looking foward to talking to you all cya

Well a good start would be to get a cold air intake for your car, that will give you a little horsepower, and then the speed addiction will begin.

welcome to hcf, i have a 98 ex but it got converted to a SI motor here recently.

what do you want out of your honda?

It depends on which route you wanna go. You can go the forced induction route and get a turbo charger or you can go the NA way, all motor baby. If you are trying to prove something or don't have that much money right now you can do an engine swap and work on your internals. But if you have the money right now you can get a turbo charger and you can boost that baby! It all depends on what you want to do. I would recommend that you save your money and piece together a turbo kit. A lot of the guys on here will tell you that it is a lot of fun knowing that you are actually making your car go faster, plus it provides you with more knowlege of your car if you are doing the work yourself.

thanks man and ya i was thinking of saving for a turbo kit with my stock engine
