No hating from me - and I'm a Mazda guy.

I've seen an LS swap into the FD before, but not the 302 into the 1st Gen. Pretty slick. I have a friend who's putting an LS3 into his '01 Miata, and it dropped in pretty easily.

I remember getting a tour of Peter Farrell Supercars about 15 years ago when they were developing the 3-rotor RX7s, and thinking that seemed insane. I'm sure the Chevy motor is a much, much better option.

lol, ls1 > 5.0 (just sayin')

love that FD....always wanted one with an ls1 swap...
