I'm glad they told you not to turn on your defrosters. Things turn out pretty bad if you turn that thing on. Be on the safe side and wait two weeks. Make sure to really inspect it too. I got a job done once and the guy tried to pawn off some tint that was scratched, I yelled and got it redone and he gave me a partial refund.

EDIT: Oh yeah, welcome to HCF.

The guy I talked to said the dimensions of each cars windows are in the computer and they have computerized cutouts of the tint after you specify which car you're tinting. Lifetime warranty and all, they want about 200-250 to do the 06 civic's 5 windows (haven't gotten the car yet, next month)...

tried? did you not finish it or something? i only do flat glass easy to get to, i don't feel like trying to get to the back window with angles near impossible to even touch with your hand.

you think $250 is high for a full job and lifetime warranty? they said it's not cheap tint either (ex. turns purple or what not)

yeah I tried, failed, then had someone else do it. It was worth a shot anyway.

EDIT: 200 isn't bad. I had mine done for about $175 and that was like 6 years ago.

well at least you know what you're getting into if you ever attempt again... plus now you have personal opinion/experience to share with others

True, my advice is to shop around and pit one shop against the other.
