I hit 120 tonight on a slight downhill with an automatic 98 ex coupe with a passenger. I got aem cai though. I was surprised that I got that fast because the faster id gone before was 100.

 

127mph in a 98 dx on straight away

 

I've had mine at 119 on the highway. Only mods I have are CAI and catback exhaust. Car was at about 5100 RPMs.

 

I had my '96 cx up to 100 on the freeway. I figure the governor kept me from going faster since the speedometer goes up to 130. What does your speedometer go up to?

 

I have hit 126 on the highway with no cars. I have a 2005 civic ex special edition 1.7 SOHC VTEC auto(I know, it sucks) and it is completely stock. The car didn't die when I hit it, but it stayed there once I hit it.

 

99 ex...120 exactly. governor

 

i gota 94 coupe cold air intake, test pipe-no cat, straight pipe, muffler, headers, really light tenzo r rims and i hit 122 but ended up in the middle of a corn field and then i hit 120 on highway 74 in monroe, NC which was really stupid because there was alot of cops...and ya....i got pulled but since my first ticket....only got switchin lanes improperly...got it dropped though

 

You're lucky. If you were in CA your *** would be arrested for that. Oh and CAI and exhaust doesn't make your top speed any different. Thankfully the governor keeps people from going much faster than 120. My 97 ex gets stopped around 117.
