Default What is it

Yo guys i'm 16 new to this and driving a 96 civic dx stock except for paint and rims. I need to know what should go on my car first performance wise. Also i need to know if i have to buy an intake manifold to use my new AEM intake(don't have yet) and what is a strut bar????



Aporeciate the help if i get any LATA

you dont need a new manifold for an intake. Performance wise you can tgo wrong with the intake/header/exhaust combo as a starter.

As for strut bars... they tighten up your suspension while cornering. Its basically a bar that runs between your strut towers to reduce flex and body roll.

1st two upgrades I would do


99/00 civic ex automatic intake manifold(the 99/00 ex automatic manifold is a direct swap needing no extra wiring or anything)

96-00 civic ex 5 speed transmission(shorter gears)

Then go suspension
