I am soon gonna be past my test (and like any other boy racer) i want a fast car, my mum drives a corsa 1.2, which is so slow it got overtaken by a coach.

Which civic model (lsi etc) should i go for, bearing in mind that i dont have alot of cash, and insurance is expensive but i do like power.

i would look into the older Si's...i would imagine that you can get them for pretty cheap, and there is alot of work that can be done to them...

Since your a young guy an Si will always be more money on insurance. If money is a prob call your agent to get a quote.

 

the insurance shouldnt be that bad. Besides the R and SI, civics aren't exactly fast. If you need something fast - look elsewhere, unless you got money on different mods.

 

If i got a civic in the year group from 1991 to 1996 or so, which model should i go for?

Theres lots of different types. If someone could list the options with a description and how expensive they are to insure it would help loads.

well i live in scotland, there doesnt appear to be a "SI" version, theres LSI and ESI... either of these?
