The car is Canadian if that's important or not. But as far as the powerband, is it the dual point system or what?, cause I'll be in 1st cruising at about 15mph with a real nice low exhaust note with torque but light on the throttle, mash it and it's a violent waaahhh andpulls hard to 40, second gear wahhhhh all the way to
65-70mph, third gear (the most fun on the freeway for me) still pulls with no lag in power deliveryall the way to 100mph, fourth gear acts like a very tall overdrive and pulls to 120+ but takes about 20sec. I've searched a few sites and came to the assumption that it's a 1.6L Si head with 1.5L block. The plugs are NGK's not fouled or nothing. The only possible reason I think there's two stages in fuel delivery is because of the dual points I guess. It's like a baby vtec no? Most likelywith an updated fuel injection say multi point or so, the power might smooth out? Please let me know!
