Default What up

hey everyone new around here, been reading around the forums a little bit.

I got a 97 civic dxwith 50k miles. Runs pretty good and recently ive been looking to put some performance on it since one of my friends bought the same car as me and we been racing a little. Been saving up and i got about 750$ to spend right now, in a couple weeks i should have a grand was just wondering what i should do, cuz the guy at the performance shop around my house said he'd install a turbo for me for a grand which would give me 60 extra hp on my stock engine but im not sure if thats what i wanna do.. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Not as much as a turbo but its cheaper and you wont have to go through all the headaches of putting a turbo. i'd say that with I/H/E it'll be around 12-15 more HP. but it'll be a nice upgrade and some simple mods to do.

ya but i rather get 60 hp for a grand than 12-15 for 750, and the guy at the performance shop is gonna do all the labor n everything for me so i dont have to go through any of the headaches of installin it myself. All im goin to have to go through is not having my car foir a day or 2 not to bad for a grand.
