Default What's up?

Hello everyone. I just got my first civic last week and I love it so far. Its a step down from the 95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST I just plowed into a tree, but its a place to start with millions of possibilities. The first thing I plan on doing is putting the DOHC vtec in it. THen I can worry about putting some mods on it. Any suggestions on cheap ways to fix it up for now are welcome.

Was your Eclipse the AWD? I used to own an Eclipse too, but it was a GS. So when I got my Si, it was an upgrade. Good luck, it sounds like you have some good ideas for the Civ. Welcome to HCF!

Yeah the eclipse was FWD, but it was really quick when I could get the launch right. It didn't have much done to it besides the dress up stuff, but anything with a turbo is fast in Oklahoma. Now I have a civic that is stock all the way down to the hub caps. The budget is limited because I'm a college student so most of the mods and the new engine will have to wait until the summer. For now I think I'm gonna get some tenzo racing 17" rims to make it look a little better. I don't know what to do after that, but I don't even have a precious vtech that my friends have been talking about since before I was old enough to drive.

Eh to be completely honest, my boyfriends brothers old car was a 97 GS-t, stock. And its not all that quick. The turbo that came with the Eclipses is pretty small. But then again, Ive driven some pretty quick cars, so a stocked out turboed Eclipse is like nothin..
