I just bought an 03 honda civic lx and im wondering wether or not i should waste time on the engine. Its an inline 4 and im new to the import thing but i deffinately want a fast car. I did a lot of reading on the k20a motor and am wondering if that will fit into my civic????? Hit me up with any advice you got for upgrades i can do until i get my new engine.Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Well, a K20 will fit. And if you want some go power, thats definitely one of the better motors. I guess it just depends on how much money you're looking to dump into the car ya know? Good luck and keep us posted

yea the K20 will fit. You could always go the turbo route. It will give you nice power gains, and will be 50% less $$

 

i'ld just turbo it anything that gives power and saves money in the end is a plus
also you will have to mod another engine anyway the k20 is gonna whip A$$ straight out the box

I want a lot of speed when my civic is complete. I say i'll be done in about three years but right now i need to be sure that im gonna get a good engine so i dont waste time hookin up this one when it cant handle what i want done. I'm in the military and every pennie i got is going to my civ... In the mean time im wondering if i should get an exhaust and intake or suspension with rims and tires????? What rout would you guys take??? Anyway, I'll have pictures of all the neons and stuff that i put in and my car too. This website is freakin awesome, thanks for the replies guys.
