finally the day i can say i have a civic! i've been on the boards for quite a while, but i didn't feel proper posting untill i had a civic.

i just purchased a 92 civic cx hatchback. its red, manual, and has stock leather interior. i didn't think that they came stock like that, but it has leather and charcol interior.

as it sits right now, it has low mileage, but it does need alittle work. its completely stock, so i have a super crappy motor in it. i believe its a D15 non vtec. it currently needs a new alternator, belts, and head gasket. but if i can find a D16Y8 w/ trans and everything for a swap, i'd rather do that.

thanks man! its appreciated. as long as i've been on this board its been great. its not too many forums that you come across that takes care of its members and abides strongly by the rules.

about the leather, im super suprized. i didn't realize you could get that option in the hatchback models. im a complete newb when it comes to honda's. i specialize in Toyota MR2's so, this will be a great learning experience.

Just a question, could it be that the seats are vinyl and not leather?

 

well, if the seats are vinyl they're perforated vinyl in which i don't think that they are. the rest of the door trim, etc are in charcol vinyl.
