So just a few weeks past I bought a 1995 Honda Civic EX. I just happen to stumble across it on Craigslist, test drove it about an hour after that, then bought it the following night. Now I owned a 1991 Honda Civic at 1 time, and loved every minute of that. And after owning 2 Fords, a VW, and unfortunatley a Dodge[:'(] that I sold to some poor shmuck, I am now back to a good, reliable, and damn cool looking car. The car only had 132,000 miles (all freeway), V-TEC, AT (yup Im lazy), Already had tinted windows, which had to be retinted, I just had an Alarm installed today,and tommorow I will have a new stereo. Now after hearing about how great my b/f's 1993 Nissan 300zx was, and my other friends cars were, they have all shut up now that I have a car that is fuel efficiant, and doesn't draw the cops attention. And the car being as nice as it is, I don't plan on doing to much to it physically, like adding a very unuseful fire extingisher, or a bunch of stickers of the brands I have in my car to make life easier for thieves.[sm=smiley36.gif] So I just wanted to say "HI" and give my "praise" to Honda.[sm=smiley31.gif]

did they have Vtec in 95s? I though Acura was the first in the 90's to have a Vtec technology, would anyone give me some more info on that?

 

honda and acura both came out with VTEC equipped cars in 92. the gs-r, and the si and close behind was the ex.

 

er.. Acura is Honda's luxury division, Honda started first, and then started Acura in the mid 80s(?)

So yes they had VTEC in 95, 94 was the first year of the DC Integra which had the B18c1 1.8L DOHC VTEC and 170 hp.
