hey people.. ive been lookin ages for a forum like this. as u can tell im new to this. i hope people out there can help me and give me opinions.. i have a honda civic 1989 vtec, just the other day i was driving home from work and there was a clonk and now when i let off gas it makes a whining and grinding noise. any ideas? could do with some opinions thank you b

Replace everything that isn't considered the chassis and you will be fine. BTW Welcome and l like your name.

I wanted to say something with the transmission. My 3rd gear was grinding a bit when I let off the gas. I imagine it was the synchros? I just gave it a few months and it worked itself out. Hondas do that a lot, they're like T-1000s.
