2003 civic turbo
hey im new here to the forums , im curently thinking of buying a used 2003 civic turbo with 30k milles on it and its in the honda used cars section and its a dx manual and it has some gauges with psi temp and a/f and a turbo timer, they all work fine from when i test drove it, i dint push it that far but i did boost it around 6psi and the a/f didnt go lean at all , the gears are fine no slipage and no clunks, the car seems fine but still havent looked under the hood yet , i might go again with some people that know about boosting to see he engine, but ist it realy nesesary to have a computer like a microtech or a haltech in this aplication. or does a good tune cover it?
A good tune is the key, but something to monitor the engine is good to have. As long as you have the tune, some good fuel and timing maps and monitor the boost spike I think you should be good to go.
How much is he asking? And is it the Dx motor or does it have a swap?

I would never buy a car that is allready modded, there is no garrente that it was modded corectly plus you dont learn anything like that. If you want a fast car you need to know what goes into them to make them fast so you can better take care of it in case something goes wrong with it IMO
