Is it better cost and speed wise to have an engine swap, I was interested in possibly a H22 or B20 engines for my civic. Or would just purchasing a turbo kit provide me with the same or more speed and performance at a lower cost.

 

what engine do u have?

 

a turbo kit could be done for $1500 if you do things right and find deals, even a B20 swap would run you more than that, and you'd probably be getting similar power.

 

id say to turbo your car your looking at the $2200 with tune and reputable parts

but i'll agree that $1100 is quite the deal, $2200 seems kinda expensive though

^ true, so take away missing link (-$160), add about that much for a OBD1 ECU/harness, then add $300-$400 for a tune.
