See if you can take care of the bottom end, build it. Then it can take the boost. If you get the block sleeved and forged rods/pistons youd be in good shape. Hell i wish my parents would bought my the turbo kit, i woulda spend the money on internals

just boost it and have it tuned by a pro. Set it at around 200 to 210whp and leave it. By the time you get out of school and start making real money a civic will be the last car sitting in your driveway.

Hes saying once your wallet hits stage 3 you wont even break wind toward a civic. You will be in the market for slightly more expensive cars

Yea that is what I mean, I love honda's but if I could sit a new car in my driveway that is actually made to go fast I would. The D17 will be fine up aropund 200 to 215whp I just dont care for them as far as the aftermarket is concerned.

Tell your dad that you can sell your engine and help him out buying a K20.
