Does it apply here that If i wanted to swap my engine that I would have to have an engine newer than the year of my car to keep it legal?? and does it really matter if its not legal??

Im in Tucson... I know Phoenix is a bit more strick then alot of places in the US.

i dont think so but must people that do swaps in az either use gsr or si motors so it will usually be newer anyway im from phoenix and i have a 98 gsr motor in my 95

not sure about now but when i lived there about 6 years ago, it was illegal to swap to an older engine. mainly an older generation engine. they gave me a little hell for my b16 swapped crx.
