My neghibor goes to a automotive school and his auto teacher using hoses instead of charge piping just curioes if anyone seen this before and how good it is. I may consider using that charge piping and a intercooler it the final things I need for my setup.

 

it's been done before, but then again, aluminum piping has much better strength properties while under vaccum, and it also depends on the hoses as well.

 

That's called ghetto fab... only thing more ghetto is PVC.

Just use aluminum hardpipes. Seriously you can pick up universal kits on ebay for cheap and then just cut them as you need to with a sawzaw or something similar.

 

They do that stock on some cars to. Shold be ok running about 5-8 pounds, anything higher I'd say switch up.

 

Oh yeah, I'm going to be using piping, just was wondering if any had heard of seen that before.
