From Aussie (b16a2 - turbo or supercharge)????
hey guy's i know my N/A honda engines fairly well but i need to know about turbo's or superchargers, i have been told that i may need to drop the compression on a vtec, turbo installation - i just installed a b16a currently running 200hp with exhaust//extractors//type r cam and cam gears// cold air intake//10mm top gun ignition leads//no cat or resignator//fuel pressure regulator and a few other mod. what whould you guys sudjest

High deck it, stroke it to 1.9L/9.2 CR, and put a T3/T04 on it. Oh, and don't forget to build it. (And feel free to forget this post if you don't want to sell your left kidney...)
if you want to run very much boost, then youll need to lower the CR, if you will be happier with a better off-boost response, and sacrificing a little top end, just turbo it as is and run the boost below 6psi. throw the stock intake cam back in if youve got it. with the R exhaust and the b16a intake, it will work out great.
my friends b16a2 has a rev hard t3/t4 turbo kit on it. the one thing that he says to remember, is you dont just have to buy a turbo kit to make ure car go fast. theres alot of other parts, and not to forget the tuning which has to be done every few months. all i know is that hes threw down about 6 grand in the past few months, and is a little past halfway there to making his car go as fast as it can.
