b16a2 kits on b16a3
ok i have the b16a3, and from what i was researching a a2 turbo kit should mate to my engine with, with minor pipe frabrication when necessary....is this correct??? also is the b16a2 obd2?? and if it is would that be a problem?? because i am obd1...
CRAP, mods move this to the turbo thread...

why would it be a problem if your obd1? i have a b16a2 and im going obd1 because im going with a p28 ecu chipped and going to run crome off of it. the kit should kit your car fine. i would recommend piecing your own kit together, you will learn more and it will be cheaper in the long run.
its the same it wont matter you can tell what year the engine is by the wireing harness on the distributor, if there's 2 plugs its obd1 and if there's only 1 its obd2.
but the ecu has nothing to do with the turbo kit fitment. get obd 1 and hondata s300 to tune it best.
ive helped tune a 2000 civic si, built bottem end, and s300 standalone at 22 psi and lets jus say its righteous. lol if you didntknow the 99-2000 si has theb16 stock also FYI

the reason i was woried about obd1Vobd2, is if the kit came with fuel controllers, etc....and yeah i was prob going to go ahead and start piecing my own kit together because i found 2 turbos at the junkyard in great condition...one on a volvo, and one on a 90 supra...
