one more question, im probably going to get ragged on for this
the car still has the stock clutch in it, I ran 9psi on it for a long time with no slip problems.
Will the stock clutch hold up fine on the dyno while boosting 14.5psi and also a higher boost setting with the boost controller around 20psi? After it's tuned, I'm not going to be flooring it past 9 pounds or so until I get an Exedy clutch, I know I should have done the clutch while it was in the machine shop but I didn't have the money. I plan on getting the clutch done next month while the car is parked for the winter.
I have the JDM LSD tranny, if it matters at all.

i drove my car to the exhaust shop with it loud as hell, worked just fine, just hurts the ears. Don't romp on it, try to stay out of boost, and even though its quiet doesn't mean you should go crazy on it before you get the tune.

your clutch isnt gonna last very long if they start doing back to back pulls. i see it toast after 10psi and climbing with the boost

I'm only going to get them to tune it without the boost controller until I get my clutch then. I think it should hold 14psi just for some dyno runs if it held 9psi for a year with no probs.
I'm thinking Exedy Stage 2 Clutch with a Fidanza lightweight flywheel. Ill have to pick that up next paycheck after the dyno.
Or...would it be a smarter idea to just park the car until I get paid on October 3rd, get the clutch/flywheel in, then do my dyno runs so I can use the boost controller and tune to 20psi?

i would park it and install all the parts before youg et the final tune. Do it right once.

Yeah, dyno time is expensive, get everything set up then tune. Saying that the clutch held 9lbs for a year is even more of a reason not to go on the dyno with your stock clutch. That thing wouldn't even hold one run at 20psi and i'm betting the same at 15lbs. Hope you're running larger injectors.

I was thinking since I dont want to park my car for a month and my engine is done now, would it possible for the tuners to just do a very basic tune up to 4000rpm, just so I know its safe to drive until the clutch is in? Then after the clutch is in I can just get it fully tuned after right?
