Blow Off Valve Placement
Does it matter where you install the blow off valve? I have seen that Remmy has installed his relatively close to the intercooler and others install it in the typical spot close to the throttle body. Thanks!

most poeple mount it about 18 inches short of the TB. As long as it's after the FMIC, it doesn't really matter. Just remember the farther down you go (like Remmy's) the longer vac line you'll have to run.

question to add to the OP's post. everyone here is recomending the bov to be placed after the i/c. whats wrong with the theory of placing it before the i/c and blowing off hot air instead of the already chilled air? also wouldnt placing the bov before the i/c make for less area to refill once back on the throttle? this is just what i have read and would like to see everyones opinion on this type of placment.
