boosting a d15y7?
Help me out here guys. I got a 98 lx sedan and I want to boost it. I'm pretty sure it has a d15y7. When it comes to turbos and this stuff I'm a complete newb. I'd like to turbo with out swapping at first, then work my way up to a swap later on. I have some money, but not alot, so the cheaper the better. So like, "procivic"? "ebay"?
alright, i'm gonna edumacate ya. go outside, i don't care if it's dark. then pop your hood, and look at your engine and spot theengine code on the block near the transmission housing on a flat surface probably covered in dirt and grimeor just use this as a guide: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2055230
now that you know, you have a factory d16y7, the same ****ty motor i have

oh, yeah, that's a typo, we're correct, it's a d16y7, i'm 100% positive and i can prove it considering my friend has the exact same engine in his lx sedan. i have a 97 dx with a d16y7, which also fits under the list with your car. and ebay is a bad place for turboing unless you're shopping for name brand equipment (i.e. turbonetics, greddy, etc.). and imo, either use the money for a swap, or just save. it's not a great platform unless you build it up for mild boost numbers.
