I want to change my mitsubishi BOV to a Greddy Type S. My flange is welded to the piping. If I got a new flange how much do you think it will cost to get a shop to take my old one of and weld on a new one or is that even possible?

 

It really depends to what shop you take it. I would say about $5-15 dollars.

 

Really thats it? I was expecting like an hour job? Do I need a new pipe or can the old flange be taken off and a new one welded on?

 

well i think you should get a new pipe so that if you wnat to change back you just swap the pipe instead of getting re welded on

 

all there gona do is torch off the mitsu bov, and weld on your flange for your greddy, i do this type of thing will take less than 20 min

most shops charge between 60-80$ for welding **** so i dk, shouldnt be all too bad and youll get good quality work [8D]

 

if you buy the greddy bov kit for the car its from it comes with an adaptorfor that flange

 

holy crap, that is expensive.
