Default criticism needed!! (turbo)

hey yall, im new to th turbo game bt steadily getting some know how. Heres what i plan on doing, what i need from all of you great turbo gurus is,
1)is this set-up safe and reliable because this is a daily driver??
2)does this set-up make sense, will it actually work?
3)what type of horse power will i make (my goal is at least 215-230HP)
4)any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, i dont want a bunch of "your an idiot" please

OK, here goes, i have a daily driven 1998 EX (for all those who dont know, D16Y8) and first up DONT SAY ENGINE SWAP, my goal is to prove that SOHC can hang with the boys, if the price and tune is right This is my plan for the turbo set up, ect. (of course more will be added on later, but once i save up enough, i plan on buying all of this at once)

Greddy Turbo Kit (or any other brand recomended?), Greddy front mount intercooler, Greddy BOV, Boost controller/ Tunable ECU, Crower Stage 2 cam, AEM adjustable Cam gear, Weico Low Comp. Pistons, Crower Rods.

Thats everything again the questions i need answered are...
Thank you in advance

Honestly man, with that bottom end set up, and a good tune and fuel management, you can run 10-12 all day long and hit those numbers your talking about. Sounds like a sweet plan

all right, finally somebody gives me something(remember this is my dail driver and i dont want it to blow up), ok, if that will work and wont flaw the engine, then i have one more question. If i wanted to take it to the track and run it, what would be a safe bet on bumping the boost up too, and what numbers could i expect, i really thank yall for the help

the greddy kit is a good kit for the daily driver, but dont go with the blue box e management system. get a chipped ecu and go with crome or neptune program. what greddy kit were you lookin at the 18g? also with the pistons get the 9:1 compression and there have been a couple of people on the forum that have done the d series turbo. pete has one and forty is workin on one at the moment. the bottom end power sounds like a good plan and you could get those numbers easily if you have those rods and pistons in there. did you want to run an internal or external wastegate?

if you want a good tune and are on the east coast go to jeff evans, he is really good

good luck man

don't waste your time with the crower stage 3 cam. It is way too big for a stockish gredy kit setup. if you're buying the kit new ask if you can get the b-series turbo (from their b-series kit) it is a 19t and will be a lot more fun in the long run.

oh yeah.....tyler likes boys......true story.

The octane of gas you will need to run is gonna be based on the PSI you run the turbo at as well as the tune. For engine management you could look into AEM EMS. If your gonna get a stage 2 cam, you might have to get new valve springs so you better look into that as well.
