Default done my homework, still need help

well i wasn't planning on keeping my 93 Del Sol - S for very long but looks like i'm stuck w/ her for at least a year so i'm beginning to piece together a turbo kit. i've lookin every "what engine does your honda have?" and i can't find a 93 del sol (s) anywhere so i'm not sure what engine i have in there but i know it's a SOHC pos.... i'm sure it can't hold a lot of power so that is the question i have... how much power can i put to the wheels with a SMALL turbo but still remain safe? i'll be putting a t25 or t28 on there (yes i kow how small that is and how much power they can hold but all i want is something to get me enough power to pass a car!!! this thing is rediculously slow). i'l be using a simple SAFC to tune it with. also, do you know how much power my stock clutch can take? i've found a way to get this thing turbo'd for about 1200 and i don't want to put much more into it than that. yes it is ebay product but i dont' care, i shouldn't have this car for more than a year from now. thanks for any help.

it's got a D15B7 with 102 bhp and barely enough torque to tighten the lugnuts.
However i recomend you get a chipped ECU with either Crome or Hondata or Neptune and have it professionally tuned on a dyno. Did you perhaps buy a SSautochrome kit?
And for the clutch however im not sure. but it was only made to be put on a car with 102 hp, i dobut it will be able to withstand the power the car with put out with a Turbo.

clutch will slip over 130whp, and you will make that with relative ease boosted, and you will have a lot of torque with a small turbo like that so you will need new clutch.

if your looking for enough power to pass a car then just intake / header / exhaust it, that will up you maybe 12-15whp (i dont know how well d15's take bolt ons)and you will definately feel a lot faster than you did.

a turbo will definately run you over a grand, your going to need a clutch / exhaust / ecu / gauges / injectors / Fuel managemetn and some other stuff that i garuntee doesnt come in your kit for 1200.. those alone are another grand

i have done the numbers of how much everything is gonna cost with shipping. i am fully aware of everything i need lol....
manifold
turbo
wastegaet
downpipe
IC Plumbing
FMIC
bov
injectors
wideband
SAFCII
boost gauge
fuel pump?????
and a possible clutch. i've street tuned a couple cars and didn't do a half bad job, i'm not looking for a lot of power or else i woudln't leave that pos lil engine in there. like i said i'm just lookin for ssomething quick enough to pass a car.... lol i had greddy evo II catback, self make short ram and a dc performance header on it at one time but trust me... they don't take mods well. in most cars you are looking at a minimum o fabout 10-12whp...i may have possibly gotten 5.

all in need to know is if the clutch can handle about 180-200whp.... and how much the bottom end can/will hold before going. thanks

youll need a clutch you can install the turbo and see how it goes though... if your only using it to pass cars then it might work for a while. but if your launching then yea, its gonna slip, bad.

good luck on this though, ill be very impressed if you can manage to build a turbo kit for 1200 [8D]how much boost are you thinking of running? just out of curiousity
