Is anyone using a drag or meutek turbo manifold with a/c? If so, tell me about it. List details, size of turbo, motor, chasis, etc. etc. thanks for the help.

 

my friends using the blox turbo mani. you can use a t3 like he was, then we put the t-3/to4e and ac was possible as long as you have the compressor housing facing the correct way.. im not sure which way,,, any way there is no ac on the car righ tnow but its possible to run a t-3/to4e but its a tight fit and you run into heat soak problems.

he's got a 2000 civic si like mine but his is built 4boost with internals and everything and i can get you pics if you want at the current set up if you want met o e-mail them i can

 

Well thanks for the help but I finally landed a greddy setup for the turbo and mani and a 2.5" downpipe (which is all I needed to complete the diy kit) so I dont have to worry about fitment issues with my a/c! Im soooo happy I have been searching for something forever! It should come in the mail some time next week and the install will begin imediately! I will be keeping everyone up to date on it and hopefully will get some pics posted up. I'll probably start a whole thread for it. Wish me luck.

 

good luck you'll like your boosted si... when you get pics i'll send u pics of our si's theres 2... mine and another one... my friends is built and is doin 15 psi on a blox mani right now.. wer're goi nto up the boost to 22ish.. then get ready for the big turbo and new manifold

Sounds like a beast! Did you guys do the installs on your Si's yourselves? If so, Im sure I'll be asking a few questions about mine along the way. Me and a buddy of mine thats a honda mechanic are gonna be doing my install.

 

ya we did all the fab and tuning ourself's its pretty fun... besices doin a turbo kit on your si its goin to be pretty easy... jus make sure you have all the parts ahead of time

and on the return line fitting into the oil pan, try and have that welded in to keep it from leaking, make sure your other oil connections are tight b/c its hard to find oil leaks lol
