Okay so i got a Garrett t25 the other day, and I'm not sure what the wastegate setting is from the factory (I really don't want to start my turbo build with this and find out that the factory setting is something way too high). So, could you guys help me hunt this down(the factory pressure setting)? Its a t25 off of a saab 9000, .48/.49.

Oh, and what do you guys think of adapting this turbo to an HF manifold. I'm thinking cheap and decent quality log manifold...

 

Probably between 5-7 lbs. That's around the norm for an internal wastegate.

 

I was thinking that it would be around that, but I'd like to find something confirming this before I start buying supporting stuff...

 

my t25 off of a 1996 saab 9000 has a 7lb wastegate spring. I would assume yours is the same.

 

i dont think he even has the car anymore, let alone the turbo.

 

I still have it. But It'll be gone this monday or tuesday for the supra.
