Default FMU and missing link???

OK I have been coming here for almost a year and I know that FMU's and missing links are not optimal... but I am having trouble finding a tuner who doesn't want me to get an AEM or some other 1500$$ fuel management.
I have a D16Z6, stock internals and am ready to turbo minus fuel management and some misc stuff. I have a mitsu t25 turbo, 390cc injectors, hf mani w/custom adapter plate, IC and piping, bov w/mounting pipe.
Can I run an FMU and a missing link for now safelyand start saving for ems and do the ems next summer?

Default RE: FMU and missing link???

an fmu is really for stock injectors, if you pop in the 390cc injectors the car wont even run. You could run the fmu and missing link But NO BOOST what so ever if you really want your car to last until you get the proper fuel management. If it was me i would just save now and when you can afford the management install your kit
