RE: this is frusterating
I forgot to tell you.. last time I was on the phone with Keith from Jackson Racing, I asked him about your motor and he said that they have no intention of putting out a SC for the 1.7 and to tell you "sorry."
I kid you not.
Sell your motor, swap in a Y8 and fire it up.

Swap in a K20A3(160hp civic si engine)
Great engine for boost plus alot more aftermarket support. I said it once and will repeat it here. The D17's are far from ideal to even try and extract power from. The bottom ends suck compared to even a D16/15 engine. The rod stroke ratio is crappy and will not let it rev high and no single cam 1.6/1.7 engine is going to be ideal to extract power from the low end. I am sure that you could buy a sc kit for a B series and fab it up to work but it would not be worth it because you would be in it cost wise as much as you would be into a K20A3 swap and still have around the same power without the ability to expand on it.
I am a avid D series fan but this is one engine I will never even attempt to build simply because you are digging yourself out of a hole to begin with.

yeah, and it actually was made to make the same 200 as the a2, but the government changed the laws at the last minute of testing, and all new cars have to be rated for hp with the power steering hooked up, so thats where it lost the 3hp.
