If I buy a chipped p28 don't I still need a tuner to adjust the computer to my specs??
So if I can't find a local tuner am I as well off using a missing link and a fmu? and getting a turbo controller?

get rid of the fmu and get a chipped p28 if you want to save your motor

So even a basemap chipped p28 is a better solution than the fmu/missing link for a/myturbo? I thought I read here on a thread that I still shouldn't take any hard pulls until I have the ecu tuned. My current problem is finding a tuner in Spokane Wa. 99206. I checked on a local tuner or generalgo fast site!!! spokanespeed.net, and am hoping to find an import tuner who could dyno tune my finished project. I have a couple feelers out but I'm asking cause this site is way hooked up. Thanks for all the help.

I'm sure there must be a tuner in Seattle. So that's like a 5 hour drive -- no problem doing that.
So is it better to get a basemapped p28 than use a FMU and a missing link? until I can get a tune?

^ yes and even with the basemap no racing. save the racing for the ride home from the tuner!
