Default greddy turbo kit

i am thinking of buying the 92-95 ex/si d series kit from greddy to put in my civic. what do you all think of the kits? i know it will be cheaper to piece a kit together put i don't really feel like the extra work. i have a 90 civic hatch with a d16z6 and obd1. if i keep the bosst modest 7-8psi max on 93 octane and no intercooler (right away) how mush power do you thin i can make.

run no intercooler and you WILL blow your headgasket. I have a greddy kit with intercooler and i love it. See if u can get a used greddy kit on ebay, if u cant get one for a good price then just piece together a kit.

well the only reason for no intercooler would be i will be getting the kit by the end of the year and its real cold in michigan, and i don't drive my civic a lot in winter, but i would get one and put it on in the spring

if you look around you can find an excellent price on greddy kits. and a good intercooler will only run you 150-200 extra.

is there any intercooler kits for a 90 civic that are pretty cheap, and come with pipes so i don't have to fabricate them?

that might be a little tougher. a spearco intercooler will run about 200, i know you can get some mandrel bent piping on ebay with connectors and if its in the turbo-intercooler then intercooler-engine you should be ok using silicone hose.

ebay has a used kit for 1000 with intercooler but it doesn't come with the engine management, which is one reason why i want a kit, their is a new kit for buy it now 1200 (no intercooler). how easy would it be to tune with uberdata or hondata with no real local dyno that i know of
