i totally agree with everything you just said. except that first line. if the issue is a bad rod angle, no amount of tuning is going to fix the problem. but all the other stuff you said is right on the money.

It is not the angle it is the berrings and only on the 96-00 usdm D series engines.

I forgot the site and specs, but I saw a turbo'ed civic running around 18-20 psi kill a viper, and a ton of other cars

what's a ball park.. money wise, what'd it take... on a D series motor to run 15 psi?

cant you run like 0-10 psi with....

fuel upgrade
arp head studs
ignition
propure tune
etc

yea that was Central Florida Turbos Civic Si. Too bad its got a fully built GS-R motor lol

rc injectors 310cc-370cc................................275 bucks new
arp head studs........................................120 bucks new
greddy e-management.............................300 bucks new
propure tune...................................anywere from 50-250

total=815-1000

if you shoped around you could probably get all of this stuff a LOT cheaper just have to be patient

Actually the problem is that the D's have a smaller bore-stroke ratio, meaning as the crank spins, the caps of the rods travel further laterally (compared to the stroke) then they would on a B series. This is what causes the extra wear on the cylinder walls under the added pressure of boost.
