Default Hows my set up looking?

I would like to put down around 280-300 WHP in my 92 Si HB. Here is a list I made up so far. Tell me what you think.

Plant: D16Z6

Head:

ZEX 59300
Supertech black valves
Ferrea valve springs & titanium retainers
ARP headstuds
All new gaskets
(3 angle valve job and p&p in the future, but needed?)

Block:

8.5:1 75mm Vitaras / NPR rings
King Main and rod bearings
Eagle rods
Steel oil pan (if I can find one)
Gaskets, waterpump, timing belt, hone

Turbo:

T3/T04E .50 or .57 trim
FMIC & 2.5" charge piping
BOV
Tial 38mm WG
Ram horn manifold (yet to find a good one)
Down pipe
Greddy turbo timer
Oil line kit
Hondata s200
440cc injectors (too small?)
Guages

Do I need a high flow fuel rail, or a walbro 255lph pump?[/align]

440's will probably be close, maybe too small. i'd go with some rc 550cc with the clips

I think HKS makes a cheaper turbo timer than greddy.

Can I use GReddy E-Manage with this set up instead of Hondata?

i think the s100 would run your setup no problem, its cheap to like 300 bucks installed maximum and whatever there tuning is for a max of 2 hours

Just run Crome if you don't want to spend a lot of money, but do not run emanage.

Your D16Z6 has a steel oil pan.

440s are going to be too small, 550s in the very least.

You need the walbro pump.

You don't need any of the headwork for 300whp, use the money on tuning.

^ Oh ok, I saw Forty's oil pan problem and I thought that the z6 oil pan was the same as the y8, guess not.

As for chrome, I dont even know where to start, its a free download i think, thats all I know. How do I get it in the car? I guess I can leave that all up to the tuner.

The d16y8 has an aluminum pan and the d16z6 has a steel one. Aluminum can become brittle after it is welded, steel does not.

You'll need a P28 spec ECU that's already chipped with crome, I'm assuming your car is already OBD1 so you won't need a conversion harness. You can get that from jktuning.com, moates.net, xenocron.com, phearable.net, etc etc etc. They will come ready for tuning, you'll just need to plug them in and get the car tuned. Tuner will do all that for you. Find a good tuner and talk to him, see what he says and if he deals with Crome. If he doesn't, ask what he does work with (probably Hondata, ECtune, Neptune). Talk to him about pricing and such, then make a decision from there.

Tis about all you need.
