I did heed your warnings guys!
i got it tuned, and found that a reciept for a clock change, at 40k, it had only done 50k maximum.
you had your laughs at me before, now im actually after some help, so who's being a clown now "my04civic" and "FlipHKD720".
thanks forty04 i was planning a leak down test aswell, thanks for being the only one that knows thier stuff, other than claiming to know their stuff, laughing at others, even though they clearly do no work on their car, and just read it all and requote stuff theyve read.
i know nothing is going to be solved without taking the head off and examining the bottom end for damage.
where's the best place to buy replacement parts? ie piston rings, pistons etc?
and i only want to hear from people that have have experience, so hush your mouth Mr flip

you said you heed our warnings so did you end up getting a chipped ecu and bigger injectors like we said or did you just turn the boost up more and run your vafc on stock injectors?

all i can think is if it injested something? maybe melted a spark plug? but it was running insaley rich if anything so itcouldnt have?
i cant image what happened, as it went all of a sudden, ranther than the rings wearing over time.

1bar, what exactly did you do to get it tuned? Please be speficific as it will help me give you better answers. What engine management program did they tune you with? Dyno or street? Are you running a wideband? If not, how do you know you were running rich?

Im thinking it was running rich, as the fpr was stuck at 5 bar, and chuffing out the black smoke at idle. i got it tuned through my vafc, and the ignition retarded a set amount at idle (1 degree). i know its not the best tune at the state it was at.
