i can get used b18c1/b18a on ebay for a good deal..all under a grand that would be ok wouldnt it ? the block has no internals wich is ok i plan on getting forged rods and pistons..... can you gimme a link to forged cranks though? i cant find any

also im stilll not positive on wich car im gonna get i just kno itll be a 95-99 civic 2 door non hatch manual

will i have to change trannies or anything when i do this swap i ask all these questions so when i get the car i can do everything and build the engine on the side and when its finished take a day or 2 off work and drop it in

crower doesnt make pistons. they supply CP, JE, and SRP pistons tho. if you're looking at getting a block and custom building from that, look into Dart blocks. they range from 750ish to over 3000 for just the block. theyre virtually bomb proof tho.

well guys " i think " i pretty much got it figured out for the most part, like i said i am new to HONDA'S, but have been into rebuilding motors, turbos, tuning, etc since i was about 5 years old, from old mopars to mid 80's turbo dodges... like shelby charger, daytona, shadow etc....

im gonna do some search n around st.louis for some b18c1's and b18a's if to no avail then ill ebay it up and get used ones from their... ( wichever is cheaper )
gonnna get my turbo kit all seperate parts... manifold, wastegate, turbo, downpipe, exhaust, intercooler, piping and do my own charge pipes
prolly gonna go with crowers website for the internals
b4 i slap the engine together im gonna have the head preasure checked, +1 mm vavles, 5angle vavle job, high rpm lifter, springs, not sure on wich cams yet still doin my homework

and im also looking into making up my own alchy injection

i do have a question though i wanna upgrade my fual system when i do turbo my car, think the 470cc injectors would be good at 25psi, and when i run lower boost i can always drop the fuel pressure and adjust the injectors

i do plan on trying to do my own tune as ill have a laptop inthe car when a aem system connected i do have some experience just not on hondas so maybe il have it done professionaly

and another question , for these 1.8l's 16v dohc's with headwork and open exhaust can this engine take/quick spool .70/.70 t3/t4 turbo? found one for about 800 bucks

also my questions about the engine swap on a 95-99 2door ex..... will the tranny/drivetrain and other esentials work in junction with the b18c1/b18a swap? ( will their be any wiring issues such as sensors, harness, ecu, etc? )
